3-Year Limited Warranty — Frame
5-Year Limited Warranty — Sunbrella® Canopy

Neighbor warrants the Cast Umbrella to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for three (3) years from the date of original delivery on the frame, and five (5) years from the date of original delivery on the Sunbrella® canopy. This warranty extends to the original purchaser and applies to products used under normal residential conditions. Commercial and contract use is covered under a one (1) year limited warranty.

What's Covered

From the date of original delivery, this warranty covers manufacturing defects in:

  • Frame (3 years): the umbrella pole, ribs, hub, finial, base fittings, and operating mechanism (crank, tilt, and pulley hardware) against structural failure and corrosion that compromises integrity under normal use.
  • Canopy (5 years): the Sunbrella® canopy fabric, including seams, stitching, and reinforcement points, against premature fading, breakdown, and manufacturing defect.

Coverage applies to products purchased new from Neighbor or an authorized Neighbor retailer and cared for in accordance with our published care guidelines.

What's Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear, including minor fading, surface scratches, and finish patina.
  • Damage caused by improper assembly, modification, or use outside the product's intended purpose.
  • Damage from wind, fire, freezing, flooding, severe weather, sharp objects, pets, or harsh and abrasive cleaning agents.
  • Damage caused by leaving the umbrella open and unattended, or by failure to close and secure the umbrella in windy conditions.
  • Cosmetic variation inherent to dyed textiles and powder-coated finishes.
  • Damage to or caused by third-party umbrella bases, stands, or weights not sold by Neighbor.
  • Products purchased through unauthorized resellers or marked as final sale, floor model, or as-is.

Care Requirements

To maintain warranty coverage, the umbrella should be closed and secured when not in use and during any windy or inclement weather. Clean the canopy in accordance with Sunbrella® care guidelines, and store the umbrella in a Neighbor cover during the off-season. Use of an appropriately weighted base is required for normal use.

How to File a Claim

Email support@hineighbor.mom with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the affected area. A member of our team will respond within two business days and walk you through next steps, including replacement parts, repair, or, where appropriate, replacement of the product.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state. Neighbor reserves the right to update this warranty; the version in effect on your date of purchase applies.
